Opening a sole AIB (NI) Classic Current Account online is simple if you are either a new or existing customer and:
- Are aged 18 and over
- Live in Northern Ireland
- Have a valid identification and proof of address

You can open a current account at any AIB branch. You can call one of our Customer Service advisers on 0345 6005 925† (9am to 5pm Monday to Friday) in advance to make an appointment and get further information on what is required to open a new account, or call into your nearest branch.
