It’s easy to be in control of your money with AIB (NI) Mobile Banking App. You can securely check your balance, pay your bills and transfer funds to any UK account whenever you need to, from wherever you are (Payment limits apply). You can even apply for a personal loan.
To use the Mobile Banking App you'll need to be registered for Online and Phoneline Banking.
You can download the AIB (NI) Mobile Banking App from the Apple App Store or Google Play™ by clicking on the relevant image below. The service is free to download and use, although data charges may apply.

Mobile Banking is an easy, simple and convenient way to manage your finances.
The service provides the same high level of security as you enjoy Online Banking.Secure Login
To access the AIB (NI) Mobile Banking App you will be asked to enter your existing eight digit registration number and your five digit Personal Access Code (PAC) during initial set up of the App. For every subsequent log in on that device you will only need to enter five digits of your PAC.
Auto time out
The Mobile Banking App will automatically log you out after four minutes of inactivity. You must be actively browsing to stay connected (i.e. switching between accounts).

Report your cards lost, stolen or damaged
It is now possible to manage the cards on your account simply by logging into your AIB (NI) Mobile Banking App and selecting ‘Cards’ from the menu.
You can:
- Report your Debit or Credit Card Lost or Stolen
- Order a replacement Debit or Credit Card
- Keep your existing PIN or request a new one when ordering a new card
- Freeze or unfreeze your Debit or Credit Card

A simple log in process
When you first log in to our Mobile Banking App your registration number will be linked (or tethered) to your device. This means each subsequent time you log in to the App on that device you will only be asked for five digits from your PAC (Personal Access Code).
Alternatively you can enable Touch ID*, Face ID* or Fingerprint Authorisation* to ensure quick and secure log in. *Subject to device and model.
This makes the log in process simpler than before but still as secure as it has always been. You can link/tether your registration to a number of devices – for example if you use a mobile phone and a tablet to access your Mobile Banking. (Some features will only work on one device at a time e.g. Open Payments and saved payees)

Quick Balance
This exciting new feature allows you to view up to two account balances, by holding down the ‘Quick Balance’ button on the log in page, without the need to log in to the App.
When logging in to the App for the first time you will be given the option to set up Quick Balance and to choose the accounts you wish to register. This can be amended or switched off at any time within the App.

View your account balances and transactions
With our service you can keep on top of your finances by:
- Viewing your account balance and seeing what is available for you to withdraw or transfer. This will not include your overdraft (if you have arranged one)
- Viewing your recent transactions and searching by account or name on:
- Up to 100 transactions on Current accounts
- Up to 50 transactions on Deposit accounts
- Up to 22 transactions on Credit Card accounts
- Viewing any pending Visa debit card transactions (those which you have made but have not yet been taken from your account).

Transfer money or pay bills within the UK
Make payments and move money at a time and place that suits you. You can:
- Transfer money between your own accounts or any UK account.
- Pay bills to any UK company by selecting Bill payment.
- Payment log allows you to view outgoing payments you have made. You can view up to 100 payments.

Manage your Direct debits
You will be able to view and cancel your Direct debits via the Mobile Banking App.

Manage your Standing Orders
You will be able to view, amend (the amount, account name, sender or receiver messages) and cancel your Standing orders via the Mobile Banking App.

Apply for a Fixed Rate Personal Loan
It is now possible to apply for a Fixed Rate Personal Loan directly from your AIB (NI) Mobile Banking app.

Transaction limits and payment cut-off times
AIB (NI) Online Banking is available from 7am until 3am 365 days a year for you to manage your finances.
There are however cut off times and transaction limits that apply to any value transactions that you are sending, setting up or cancelling.
Payments made after the daily cut-off time may take an additional banking day to be received by the recipient. This information will be displayed at the bottom of each payment screen. See the below links for more information:

Joint account holders and personal business partnerships
Customers who hold joint accounts should be aware that all account holders are jointly and severally liable for all transactions carried out on their accounts through Online Services.If your joint account was set up so that any one of you can sign solely to complete transactions, then full access will be granted and you will be able to complete value transactions on this account through Online Services.
If your joint account was set up that all or more than one of you must sign or give authority to complete transactions, you will only be allowed to use Online Services for transactions which do not involve any value, for example checking your balance. You will not be able to carry out transactions such as transferring money or paying bills.

Alternatively, you can download and complete the paper application and return to the freepost address detailed at the top of the form. Once your form has been received and validated, your registration details will be sent to you.
