How do I stop or cancel a cheque/cheque book?

Speak to a customer service adviser
Call 0345 600 5925† between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. A Customer Service adviser may be able to cancel your cheque/cheque book.
Make sure that you have the cheque number and amount of the cheque you wish to stop.
Note: If a cheque has already been processed on your account, this cannot be cancelled.

Drop in to any AIB branch, during opening hours* where a member of staff will help you with your request.
