Switched your account using the Current Account Switch Service?

At the time of your current account switch a redirection service was put in place for 13 months as a safety net to make sure that any payments inadvertently made from and to your old account were automatically forwarded to your new account.

The redirection service was temporarily increased to 24 months in the summer of 2014 and has now been extended to a minimum of 36 months. This change applies to all customers who have ever used the Current Account Switch Service and those who are about to do so. 

In addition the Current Account Switch Service is being extended to include SMEs with an annual turnover up to £6.5 million and less than 50 employees. 

Customers do not have to take any action to receive the increased redirection service. However should you wish to stop the redirection service (e.g. terminate the switch) at any time, please contact us on 0845 6005 925^†.
