How do I check my account balance & available funds?

Mobile Banking
Log in to our Mobile Banking app. You will be presented with a list of your account balances and available funds.
You can download the AIB (NI) Mobile Banking app from the Google PlayTM or Apple App store.

Online Banking
Log in to Online Banking. You will be presented with a list of your account balances and available funds.

Phoneline Banking
Call 0345 793 0000† and log in to Phoneline Banking.
Press 1 for balance and transaction information and follow the steps to obtain the information you require on account balance and available funds. -
Speak to a customer service adviser
Call 028 90 346034 between 8:30am and 5pm Monday to Friday. A customer service adviser will be able to advise you of your account balance and available funds, once you have completed the standard security checks.

Visit a Branch
Drop in to any AIB Branch, during opening hours*, where a member of staff will assist you with completing your request.
Note: You will need the IBAN and BIC or NSC and account number for the account to which you wish to transfer funds.

AIB (NI) cash machines
You can check your account balance at any AIB (NI) cash machine using your AIB (NI) Visa debit card and PIN.

Note: This balance given at the cash machine does not include pending transactions (i.e. does not reflect 'available balance' as there may be transactions in progress).
