How do cancel a regular payment/standing order?

Mobile Banking
Log in to Mobile Banking and click on ‘Pay & Transfer’ from the options. Select ‘Standing Orders’ from the drop down menu. Select the Standing Order you wish to cancel and click the ‘Cancel standing order’ button.
Regular Payment/Standing Order cancellations can take up to a maximum of one banking day.

Online Banking
Log in to Online Banking click on 'Pay & Transfer' from the top of the screen. Then select 'Regular Payments' from the drop down menu. 'Cancel' is available on the right of the screen.

Visit a branch
Drop in to any AIB branch, during opening hours with suitable ID* where a member of staff will assist you with your request.

Speak to a customer service adviser
Call 0345 600 5925† between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays)
A Customer Service adviser will be able to cancel any of your Regular Payments/Standing Orders on your account(s), once you have completed the standard security checks.
