How do I amend a regular payment/standing order?

Mobile Banking
Log in to Mobile Banking and click on 'Pay & Transfer' from the options. Select 'Standing Orders' from the drop down menu. Select the Standing Order you wish to amend and click the 'Amend standing order' button.
The maximum amount a Regular Payment/Standing Order can be amended for on Online or Mobile Banking is limited to an aggregate of £2,000 in any banking day.
Regular Payment/Standing Order amendments and cancellations can take up to a maximum of one banking day.
Note: If you wish to amend any field other than – Message to appear on your statement, –Message to appear on receiver statement - Payment amount, you must cancel the standing order/regular payment and set-up a new one with the new detail.

Online Banking
Log in to Online Banking and click on 'Pay & Transfer' from the top of the screen. Then select 'Regular Payment' and click 'Amend' on the right of the screen.

Visit a branch
Drop in to any AIB branch, during opening hours* with suitable ID where a member of staff will assist you with your request.
Note: You will need the IBAN and BIC or sort code and account number for the account to which you wish to transfer funds.

Speak to a customer service adviser
Call 0345 600 5925† between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays)
A Customer Service adviser will be able to assist you to amend your Regular Payments/Standing Orders on your account(s), once you have completed the standard security checks.
You will need your card reader to complete this transaction.
