How do I pay a utility/household/other bill?

Mobile Banking
Log in to Mobile Banking and select ‘Pay & Transfer’ from the options. Select ‘Pay a bill’ from the drop down menu and click on the bill you wish to pay.
There is no charge for paying a bill via Mobile Banking.
Note: The biller must already be set up on Online Banking to pay via Mobile Banking.
You can download the AIB (NI) Mobile Banking app from the Google PlayTM or Apple App store.

Online Banking
There are approximately 2000 companies that you can make bill payments to on Online Banking.
Log in to Online Banking and click on 'Pay & Transfer' from the top of the screen and follow the on-screen instructions.
You will need your card reader if you are adding/paying a bill payment.
There is no charge for paying a bill via Online Banking.

Phoneline Banking
Call 0345 793 0000† and log in to Phoneline Banking.
Press 2 for Pay a Bill or Transfer Money, then option 1 to Pay a Bill and follow the prompts to complete your request.
Note: When using Phoneline Banking, payments can only be made to a payee that has already been set up on your Phoneline Banking profile. There are approximately 30 companies that you can make bill payments to.
There is no charge for paying a bill via Phoneline Banking.

Visit a branch
Drop in to any AIB branch, during opening hours*, where a member of staff will assist you with completing your request.
Note: You will need the IBAN and BIC or your sort code and account number for the account to which you wish to make a one-off transfer.
Please note, if the payment needs to reach the beneficiary account on the same day, there will be daily cut-off times for the payment to be processed. Please contact a customer service adviser for further details on cut-off times on 0345 600 9525† between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
