Get £100 by switching your current account held elsewhere using the Current Account Switch Service, and within 30 days of the switch lodge a minimum of £1,500 and set up two active direct debits.
Open a regular saver within 30 days of the switch, lodge a minimum of £100 and we will give you a further £100.

Open an account online
Opening a sole AIB (NI) Classic Current Account online is simple if you are either a new or existing customer and:

Live in Northern Ireland

If you are already a customer, we can open an account for you at the branch or by downloading and completing our Personal application form and post it to your nearest branch.

Staff at your nearest AIB (NI) branch will be very happy to help you open an AIB (NI) Classic Current Account. Simply visit your nearest branch or you can book an appointment using our Branch Appointment Form
To open your account, you’ll need to:
Be aged 18 and over
Be a UK resident
Bring one proof of ID and one proof of address
